«We offer you a unique opportunity to experience the dental clinic of University of Helsinki — the best dental school of Finland and the 21st best dental university in the world. Our world renown university is located 5 km from the Helsinki city centre close to the central park. The exchange includes observing our third, fourth and fifth year students doing clinical work with patients and our second year students starting their phantom lab practise. There is also a possibility of observing the oral and maxillofacial surgeons working in the University Hospital.
The exchange is during the biggest spring festival in Finland which is also the most important student event of the year. The students from our faculty are very happy to take exchange students around the city and for example introduce the clinic’s break room where we can have a cup of our favourite drink, coffee. Another typical thing that Finnish people value is nature that in Finland is not only wild, it’s free. During your stay we can visit the beautiful national park called Nuuksio close to Helsinki. You will experience the Finnish culture at its best: vibrant and beautiful Helsinki in the spring, traditional sauna and rich student culture. Welcome! «
